We begin our journey south along the South West Highway with a scenic drive and entertaining commentary. Our first stop is Edenvale Homestead in Pinjarra, where we’ll enjoy a picnic morning tea amidst beautiful historic gardens. Take time to explore the local arts and crafts centre or nearby op shops . Continuing through Waroona and Harvey, we arrive in Bunbury for a single course lunch at the Rose Hotel, followed by a short coastal tour. Next, we head to Cowaramup , famous for its life-sized model cows lining the main street. Visit the Candy Cow and other quirky shops before arriving in Margaret River , your home for the next four nights.
Augusta, Cape Leeuwin Lighthouse & Hamelin Bay After a hearty cooked breakfast, we begin our day with a visit to the Berry Farm , a local favourite known for its delicious homemade jams, preserves, award-winning wines, and fortifieds. There’s time to browse the shop, enjoy a tasting, and perhaps grab a treat from the cottage café. We then travel south to Augusta for a relaxing cruise along the Blackwood River . Due to boat capacity, the group will enjoy the experience in two parts, giving everyone time to take in the peaceful surroundings. After the cruise, we visit the iconic Cape Leeuwin Lighthouse , where the Southern and Indian Oceans meet . Nearby, we also stop to view the historic petrified waterwheel , a unique relic of early settlement in the area. Enjoy some free time in Augusta for lunch (own expense), before we continue to Hamelin Bay , renowned for its friendly stingrays that often glide close to shore. Our return journey takes us through the magnificent Boranup Karri Forest , with towering trees and breathtaking scenery.

Nannup, Bridgetown & Donnybrook Discovery Today we venture inland through rolling green hills and lush forests on a beautiful scenic drive exploring some of the South West’s most charming country towns. Our first stop is Nannup , known for its peaceful country atmosphere, seasonal gardens, and local artisan shops. Enjoy a stroll through town, visit a gallery, or simply take in the tranquillity of this hidden gem. We then continue to Bridgetown , the Winter Capital of Western Australia , set along the scenic Blackwood River. Take time to wander the heritage-listed main street , browse local galleries and boutiques , and opportunity to purchase own lunch at one of the welcoming country cafés. In the afternoon, we make our way to Donnybrook , famous for its apple orchards and as the home of the Big Apple . Enjoy a relaxed visit through town, with time to explore Apple Fun Park , the heritage railway station , or grab a treat from a local bakery before returning to Margaret River via a picturesque country drive. Return to the motel for your final evening meal and a chance to reminisce on the day’s discoveries.
Caves Road, Canal Rocks, Busselton & Return to Perth After breakfast, we travel along scenic Caves Road , stopping at Canal Rocks to see the ocean crash through narrow channels. We continue past Yallingup , Eagle Bay , and Meelup Beach , showcasing some of the South West’s most stunning coastline. We make our way through Dunsborough to Busselton , where you’ll have time to purchase lunch and enjoy a leisurely stroll along the famous Busselton Jetty . Our return journey takes us via Australind , with a scenic drive along the Leschenault Inlet , pointing out St Nicholas Church —the smallest church in Western Australia. Before arriving back in Perth, we make one final stop at the popular Miami Bakery . It’s the perfect spot to grab a coffee, sweet treat, or something to take home as a memento of your trip. We continue along the Forrest Highway, arriving back in Mandurah around 3:30pm .
